Since On Kawara’s death in July 2014, I have posted one drawing a day, each linked to a news event. Using reproductions from art books, I add small naked or dehumanized figures to express the tension between the individual and the collective. This growing series of thousands of works is now connected to my engagement with Child-Help, born from my daughter’s disability and our work in the Global South. Together with curator Edith Doove and a small circle of allies, I aim to turn the neoliberal art world into a force that sustains this humanitarian mission.
