{"id":3312,"date":"2021-09-09T13:16:21","date_gmt":"2021-09-09T11:16:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chv.ipd.mybluehost.me\/projecten\/neterotopia-2006\/"},"modified":"2021-09-15T16:21:02","modified_gmt":"2021-09-15T14:21:02","slug":"287-neterotopia","status":"publish","type":"projecten","link":"http:\/\/pierremertens.be\/en\/projects\/287-neterotopia\/","title":{"rendered":"Neterotopia (2006)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Neterotopia<\/strong>\u00a0was an event that took place from 16th to 31st March 2006 in various spaces on the Net and in 3 physical locations, the\u00a0<strong>Palais de Tokyo<\/strong>\u00a0(Paris),\u00a0<strong>Careof<\/strong>\u00a0(Milan) and\u00a0<strong>NICC<\/strong>(Antwerp).\u00a0<strong>Pierre Mertens<\/strong>\u00a0connected these three locations with a digital box circle allowing visitors to communicate online and within these locations.\u00a0<strong>Daniel Balit<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Pierre Mertens<\/strong>\u00a0curated this exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>Eleven artists from different countries have been invited to choose an Internet site and use the spaces usually reserved for advertising.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christophe Bruno<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/liberation.fr\/\">liberation.fr<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>Ghazel<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sortiraparis.com\/\">sortiraparis.com<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>Susan Hefuna<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0movies.tenuae.com,\u00a0<strong>Nathalie Hunter<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/google.com\/\">google.com<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>Yuji Oshima<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/arman.fm\/\">arman.fm<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>Peter Lemmens and Eva Cardon<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wunderground.com\/\">wunderground.com<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>Adam Vackar<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0inrockutibles.com,\u00a0<strong>Stephen Vitiello<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/villagevoice.com\/\">villagevoice.com<\/a>,<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luca Vitone<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/viamichelin.it\/\">viamichelin.it<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>Version<\/strong>(Gabriela Vanga, Ciprian Muresan and Mircea Cantor) on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/corriere.it\/\">corriere.it<\/a>,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/0100101110101101.org\/\">0100101110101101.ORG<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/film.it\/\">film.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>These spaces were thus transformed into exhibition surfaces and points of access to a pathway branching through the public and virtual space of the Internet, the major node of which was the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/neterotopia.net\/\">neterotopia.net<\/a>\u00a0website.<\/p>\n<p>The project was the result of works between the European organizations NICC (New International Cultural Center), Love Difference and the Pistoletto Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Neterotopia was ranked among the 15 top projects for the\u00a0Best Art Practices international award for curators.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.neterotopia.net\/\">Neterotopia.net<\/a>\u00a0(unfortunately off line)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":351,"template":"","class_list":["post-3312","projecten","type-projecten","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
