Bolero (2010 till now)

Bolero is a touring exhibition started by 4 artists living in Belgium: Willo Gonnissen, Frank JMM Castelyns Mulegate Tafesse and Pierre Mertens. They each created a work on a page of a newspaper and invited colleagues to do the same. The exhibition travelled from Ethiopia, Tanzania, South Africa, Vietnam, India, China, Germany, Switzerland, the fringe programme of Manifesta in Belgium and Documenta in Athens. Afterwards, Bolero travelled to Documenta 15 in Kassel with a simultaneous presentation in Kiev (Ukraine). The provisional last presentation was in Poland. Now there are 106 participating artists from 16 countries.
